Copolia Trail This fascinating trail begins at Bel Air, at the Sans Soucis junction at 360m. The three hour trail meanders up uneven, rocky path up to the summit of 497 metres. Upon reaching the peak, be awed by the panoramic view over the small town of Victoria, the north west peninsula and to the East, by Eden island and the Seychelles International Airport. Looking northwest, one is captivated by the breath-taking views of the Ste Anne Marine Park boasting the cluster of islands of Moyenne, Cerf, Long, and Round. Under a clear blue sky, the inner islands of Praslin and La Digue appear to be floating on the horizon, to the northeast. Copolia is a spectacular and rewarding place to visit and experience. It is packed with endemic birds and plant species such as the Seychelles carnivorous pitcher plant. Be fascinated by the intermingling of natural granite rocks (or 'glacis' in Creole), the woodlands and endemic fauna and flora. Our experienced guide will fill your repertoire of knowledge with the history of the location, as well as it plants.
