Welcome to SEZ Travel. By booking or using our website (sezholidays.com) and services, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully before making a booking

 Who We Are

SEZ Travel is a Seychelles-based travel services provider offering tours, transfers, and experiences, as well as hotel, flight, and package bookings through our partnership with Expedia Group.

Scope of Services

  • Direct services (tours, transfers, packages) are provided by SEZ Travel.

  • Hotel, flight, and other bookings displayed through our Expedia portal are provided by Expedia Group under their own terms and conditions.

  • By making a booking, you agree to these T&Cs as well as any additional terms from Expedia or third-party suppliers.

Bookings & Payments

  • Direct Bookings (SEZ Travel Services):

    • Payment is processed securely via Stripe or other approved methods.

    • Bookings are confirmed only upon receipt of full payment.

  • Expedia Bookings:

    • Payment is handled directly by Expedia Group.

    • Expedia’s terms apply to these bookings (see Expedia Terms).

Pricing

  • All prices are displayed in Seychelles Rupees (SCR), Euros (€), or US Dollars (USD), depending on your selection.

  • Prices may vary due to currency fluctuations, seasonal demand, or supplier changes.

  • Once a booking is confirmed, the price will not change unless due to government taxes or fees beyond our control.

Cancellations & Refunds

  • SEZ Travel Direct Services:

    • Cancellations made 7 days or more before service: Full refund minus admin fee (5%).

    • Cancellations made 3–6 days before service: 50% refund.

    • Cancellations made within less than 48 hours or no-shows: No refund.

  • Expedia Bookings:

    • Refunds and cancellations follow Expedia’s cancellation policies, shown during booking.

Amendments

  • Changes to direct bookings must be requested in writing and are subject to availability.

  • Any extra costs (e.g., upgrades, rescheduling) will be charged to the customer.

Customer Responsibilities

By booking with SEZ Travel, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete personal details.

  • Hold valid travel documents (passport, visas, insurance).

  • Comply with Seychelles laws and regulations during your stay.

  • Ensure minors are accompanied by a responsible adult.

Liability Disclaimer

  • SEZ Travel acts as an agent for tours, transfers, and third-party services.

  • We are not liable for:

    • Delays, cancellations, or changes due to weather, strikes, or government actions.

    • Loss, theft, or damage of personal belongings.

    • Injuries, accidents, or health issues arising during activities (customers should have travel insurance).

  • For Expedia bookings, Expedia Group and the service provider are responsible under their terms.

Travel Insurance

We strongly recommend all travelers purchase comprehensive travel insurance covering medical emergencies, cancellations, and lost baggage.

Intellectual Property

All website content (text, images, logo, branding) is the property of SEZ Travel and may not be copied or used without written consent.

Privacy

Your use of SEZ Travel services is also governed by our Privacy Policy.

Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of Seychelles.
Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Seychelles courts.

1. Introduction & Acceptance

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of www.sezholidays.com and any services offered by SEZ Travel Seychelles (“SEZ Travel”, “we”, “us”, “our”).

By accessing our website or making any booking, you confirm that you:

  • Are at least 18 years of age;

  • Have legal capacity to enter into binding contracts;

  • Agree to be legally bound by these Terms.

If you do not agree, you must not use our website or services.

 

2. Nature of Our Services

SEZ Travel operates under a dual service model:

A. Direct Services (Operated or Arranged by SEZ Travel)

  • Tours

  • Transfers

  • Custom Tours

  • Local travel experiences

For these services, SEZ Travel acts either as:

  • Principal provider; or

  • Local booking agent coordinating third-party local operators.

B. Affiliate & Third-Party Services

  • Flights

  • Hotels

  • Vacation packages

  • Other travel products displayed via Expedia Affiliate Network (EAN)

For these services:

  • SEZ Travel acts solely as a referral or affiliate partner.

  • The contract is between you and Expedia or the respective supplier.

  • Expedia’s Terms & Conditions apply in addition to these Terms.

We are not responsible for the performance of Expedia or third-party suppliers.

 

3. Booking & Contract Formation

A booking becomes legally binding only when:

  • Full payment has been successfully processed; and

  • A confirmation email has been issued.

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel bookings due to:

  • Pricing errors,

  • System errors,

  • Suspected fraud,

  • Force majeure events.

If cancellation occurs before service delivery, liability is limited to refund of amounts paid.

 

4. Payments & Currency

  • Payments for direct services are processed securely via Stripe or approved payment gateways.

  • Prices may be displayed in SCR, EUR, or USD.

  • Currency exchange differences and bank fees are the customer’s responsibility.

  • Government taxes or regulatory fees imposed after booking may be payable by the customer.

 

5. Pricing Accuracy & Errors

We make reasonable efforts to ensure pricing accuracy. However:

  • Pricing errors may occur due to technical or supplier issues.

  • We reserve the right to correct errors prior to confirmation.

  • Obvious pricing errors may result in cancellation and refund.

We are not bound by manifest errors.

 

6. Cancellations & Refunds (Direct Services Only)

Standard Cancellation Terms:

  • 7+ days before service: Full refund minus 5% administrative fee

  • 3–6 days before service: 50% refund

  • Less than 48 hours or no-show: No refund

Refund processing time: 7–30 business days.

Affiliate (Expedia) Bookings:

Subject strictly to Expedia’s cancellation policies.

Service fees charged by SEZ Travel may be non-refundable.

 

7. Amendments

Requests must be submitted in writing.

All amendments:

  • Are subject to availability

  • May incur additional fees

  • Are not guaranteed

 

8. Customer Responsibilities

You are solely responsible for:

  • Valid passports and visas

  • Travel insurance

  • Health requirements and vaccinations

  • Compliance with Seychelles and destination laws

  • Arriving on time for transfers and tours

Failure to meet requirements does not entitle you to a refund.

 

9. Travel Insurance

Comprehensive travel insurance is strongly recommended.

SEZ Travel shall not be liable for:

  • Medical expenses

  • Trip interruptions

  • Lost baggage

  • Personal injury

  • Emergency evacuation

 

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Seychelles law:

SEZ Travel shall not be liable for:

  • Indirect or consequential damages

  • Loss of profits or enjoyment

  • Acts or omissions of third-party suppliers

  • Weather-related disruptions

  • Government travel restrictions

  • Airline schedule changes

Maximum liability is strictly limited to the total amount paid for the specific service booked.

 

11. Force Majeure

We shall not be liable for failure to perform due to events beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to:

  • Natural disasters

  • Pandemics

  • Civil unrest

  • Government action

  • Airline disruptions

  • Extreme weather

In such cases, refunds are subject to supplier policies.

 

12. Website Use & Intellectual Property

All website content is owned by SEZ Travel.

Users may not:

  • Copy

  • Reproduce

  • Distribute

  • Commercially exploit content

Without written consent.

 

13. Data Protection

Use of personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy.

 

14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless SEZ Travel from claims arising from:

  • Breach of these Terms

  • Violation of laws

  • Misuse of services

  • Negligent or unlawful conduct

 

15. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Seychelles.

All disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of Seychelles.

 

16. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the website constitutes acceptance of updated Terms.
