Service Description

Boat excursion to Curieuse & St Pierre Islands (Twin Island Combo) Spend the day exploring two islands. The day will be filled with boat rides, snorkelling, a delicious BBQ lunch and some of the biggest tortoises that you have ever seen! Depart from hotel on Praslin or La Digue and you will be transferred on a boat to begin your cruise. A scrumptious BBQ lunch will be served on Curieuse island. This is a full day excursion. Curieuse Curieuse is a historic 286-hectare island nature reserve just 2 km from Praslin, known for its lush greenery and giant Aldabra tortoises. Visitors can explore the conservation hatchery, museum of ecology, and ruins of an 1833 leper colony. The island features the rare Coco de Mer nut, seven mangrove species, and diverse birdlife like the black parrot. Hike to Mount Caiman’s summit for stunning views, then relax with a BBQ picnic before continuing the island combo trip by boat. St Pierre St Pierre is a small granitic island near Anse Volbert, Praslin, known for its towering palms and clear turquoise waters. Once a guano supplier during colonial times, it’s now a natural aquarium with colorful marine life. Although impacted by the 2004 tsunami, coral restoration has helped its recovery. Snorkeling and swimming here are highlights for visitors, depending on sea conditions. Tour Details Operates: Monday to Sunday. Does not operate on Public holidays Departs: From 7 am from hotel depending on location Parents with children are advised to supervise their children at all times. This trip is not ideal for children below 2 years old.
