Service Description

This trail starts near the historic Tea Factory at the foothills of the famous Morne Seychellois Peak. The path begins at 420 metres and ascends to a 667 metre summit along a continuous path, shaded by gigantic trees. Listen to the humming of endemic birds building their nests or mating in the woods nearby. Experience the majestic beauty of the birds soaring close to the edge of the cliffs. Learn about their habits and the names of exotic plants and animals found along the trail. Our experienced guide will delight you with their knowledge of this local, significant area. After the three or so hours of the walk you will be rewarded with the magnificent views of the western frontier of Seychelles. Basking offshore at a distance from the summit, the beauty of the islands of Therese and Conception comes into full view. Take a moment to assimilate these wondrous views before your descent. Should you be at the location closer to late afternoon, your journey will be recompensed by the most spectacular of sunsets. Watch the sun dance its way beyond the horizon.
