Highlight: Discover the La Buze Bel Ombre Treasure Site, linked to pirate Olivier Le Vasseur. Learn about the famous treasure rumored to be buried here and enjoy stunning views from the nearby Treasure Cove Restaurant. Anse Marie Laure A quiet, peaceful beach on Mahé’s northwest coast near busy Beau Vallon. Ideal for relaxing or a romantic stroll, its soft, powdery sand is a hidden gem despite gentle currents. Mare Anglaise Named after historic marshes, this area near Beau Vallon boasts beautiful white sandy beaches and lush greenery. Home to some Seychellois leaders, it’s now a lively spot with diving centers, hotels, and car rentals. Glacis A rocky, green area on Mahe’s northwest coast with small beaches, fishing, and hotels like Sunset Beach and Hilton Northolme. Great for fish feeding and sunsets. North East Point A 1.5 km sandy beach perfect for surfing and walks. Visit Kreol Fleurage perfume factory to explore unique island scents. Anse Etoile A small beach cove known for its vibrant fishing community and colorful boats. Great spot to see fishermen and enjoy views of the Perseverance coastline. Ma Constance Visit Mr. Robin’s home workshop, one of the last boat maquette makers in Seychelles. Watch him craft detailed wooden models and buy unique handmade souvenirs. Majoie Home to the Guy Morel Institute, the first public sector college. If time allows, enjoy views of Ste Anne Marine Park and Perseverance Island from the nearby lookout. La Bastille A historic colonial building in Victoria with impressive architecture and nearby medicinal gardens. It’s also known for ghost stories. Perseverance A man-made island with schools, government offices, and a beach overlooking Ste Anne Marine Park. It shows the modern Seychellois way of life. Ile Du Port Seychelles’ government center with the Palais De Justice, National Assembly, and major fishing quay. English River Home to Seychelles’ main telecom and radio services, with a new broadcasting facility underway.
